Veila Hair Extension Intense A Training

Veila Hair Extension Intense A Training

They say! "Those who can't do, teach!" Not true, those who teach enjoy sharing their wisdom!

In the hair industry, it is important to never stay stagnant, meaning educate as much as possible! I love color refresher classes featuring new color techniques, hair cutting classes, and learning new methods of hair straightening and hair extensions. Yesterday, we held a class specific to training in our new Veila Pull-Thru hair extensions, as well as individual keratin bond extensions. Our attendees have worked with other methods, therefore, they have a great understanding of working with hair extensions, nonetheless, we trained intensively for 8 hours. We used mannequin heads for application practice, as well as my own hair! I told the attendees that if you can attach extensions to a mannequin head, a real "head" is much easier.

Our training was nothing like watching a Youtube video, or other classes where you attach a few hair extensions, we attached full heads of human hair in both methods, and we were all very hands-on. In addition, we discussed the origin of hair extensions, how to tell if the cuticle is still intact, blending hair extensions, vetting and consulting potential hair extensions, marketing and so much more!

We also covered using hair extensions for guests with hair loss. Using our Veila Pull-Thru and keratin bond cut-down application, we demonstrated how to hide in hair. Future classes will discuss hair topper application. We offer virtual training via Zoom, but our preference is hands-on training, we will travel to large venues and salons.

Each student received a framed "Certificate of Completion," and a well-stocked kit to get them started with their new hair extension endeavor. Yodit and I have over 40 years of combined knowledge of every facet of hair extensions and the industry! We cut to the chase in our training and also give asked lots of questions to our trainees!

We enjoy running an intense class, but we love to have fun while doing it! Our student Lizangela won a gift from CTRLCosmetics.com generously donated by Nina and Alan Steinberg! The gift is jam-packed with skincare that is all natural and vegan. The value of the Steinbergs' gift was over $400, and some of their products can be used on the hair too.

I must say interacting with other stylists is also a benefit to us, we are able to banter and discuss the industry, and we speak the same language. Time went quickly, and our new experts walked away with their mannequin heads, and training manuals and they took lots of pictures for future reference.  Our relationship does not end at the end of the class, we keep an open line of communication to answer questions, help match hair extensions, and address any of their questions.

Our next combination class will be training in our Pull-Thru method along with our special beaded sew-in hair extension technique. This one should be fun!

I am now signing up for a Goldwell USA color class to learn more about their new shades. I love to practice what I preach. I have been a hairstylist for over 25 years, but I am not ashamed to admit that I, too, need to educate!

Hair Extensions Background

At Noelle Salon, they evaluate your natural hair, and listen to the client's wishes on styling, color match, and look. They use human hair extensions like 100% Remy human hair, or Virgin Hair (unlike Bellami hair). Hair extensions can be used for short hair or 24 inches of a full head of hair, and they have worked with different methods like tape-in extensions, clip-in hair extensions, Keratin and enjoy using the Veila Pull-thru method with the Veila Hair Extensions for ease of hair care. Styling can vary from flat iron, natural curl, or curly hair. Whether you are looking for a change of style or look for a day such as a Clip-in ponytail, having a high-quality ponytail extension can mix it up for you. Your natural hair journey with your hair growth can be enhanced with Hair extensions when protective styling is applied, and regular maintenance is used. You can change your hair in one day - feel free to reach out and explore the possibilities.
